Extremely limited release. 

100% hand picked and wild fermented, the Pinot Noir was destemmed and fermented as whole berries and spent 3 weeks on skins. The Syrah was destemmed with a small portion of whole bunch. Blended at press and left to settle in old French oak barrels for 10 months. 

This is one half of a label, painted by Bridgette McNab and inspired by the Sicilian 'Teste di Moro'.

A love story between a girl living in Palermo and a Moorish soldier who fell madly in love with each other, until the girl found out the soldier had a wife and family back home. One night, in a fit of jealousy, she cut off his head. She then used it to plant her basil, everyone in the town was amazed at how beautiful it was growing and sculpted ceramic heads to plant their basil in. A beautiful twist of love and darkness.
