Descent 22, our birthday beer has come into rotation for another winter. This year’s imperial stout has been aged in foeder barrels for 6 months. This time spent in barrels has allowed the immersion of vanilla, oak and wild yeast characters that combine with the roasty, bitter, black malt leather-like esters to complete this winter warmer. The beer is held in high esteem for Richard and Tracy, who chose this style of beer as a celebration to their hard work and a way to create and share something special with the community, followers and lovers of bent beers.
